I attended my brother-in-law’s graduation yesterday. He just finished his MBA and we are so proud of him. He has worked so hard. It got me thinking about my time at college and how much fun I had at school. I can’t believe it has been exactly five years since I graduated. It makes me feel old.
I went to Southern Utah University where I was a photographer and the photo editor of the campus newspaper for several years. I have always loved photography but during my time at school that love grew in leaps and bounds. I had so much fun taking photo classes, covering sports, concerts and other campus events. I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite photos from my college photojournalism career. It was hard to narrow it down but it was a fun trip down memory lane.
These first two I won awards for from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Utah Newspaper Photographers Association.
