Wow, where has the year gone. Time to start thinking about Christmas cards already. I have a lot of fun new designs this year. You can choose between 5×7 flat or folded cards. The cards are press printed on pearl paper and are just gorgeous. The flat cards are $40 for a pack of 25 cards and the folded cards are $50. All cards must be ordered in packs of 25. Also new this year you can buy an electronic version of your card to put on the Internet or print yourself. If you have had a session this year definitely check these out. Also it is not too late to schedule your fall family portraits. The leaves were kind of late turning this year so they are just now getting colorful in the valley. I only have a few spots left so let me know asap if you want to schedule.

I am taking most of December off to spend time with my family so if you want any prints or cards in time for Christmas make sure you order by the deadline.

Leather album

Recently I have had a lot of people ask about my albums and I thought now would be a good time to show a little bit of what they look like for those of you who haven’t been able to see them in person. I offer several kinds of albums — this one is my favorite. It has a leather cover and the pages are stiff. The photo spreads are printed directly on the page and go all the way to the edge. All the spreads are custom designed by me and are printed and bound in Salt Lake City. I have personally visited the album company and know how much care they put into each album. This is the type of album you will treasure for years to come and will last for generations.

The pages lay flat when open with no crease allowing for panoramic spreads.

Metal prints

These beautiful prints are printed on a sheet of aluminum. They are archival, waterproof and scratch resistant. They also don’t require framing. Metal prints come in a variety of sizes and are now available in the proofing gallery for client prints and fine art prints. Here are a few pictures of some of these gorgeous metal prints I have gotten in recently.

Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Consider one of my fine art LDS temple prints. There are 10 different temples to choose from with more coming soon. All fine art prints come mounted and sprayed so they don’t have to be displayed behind glass. You can also choose a canvas gallery wrap or a metal print. Below are a few examples. Keep in mind the deadline for Christmas orders is December 12. If you order after that date it might arrive in time for Christmas but is not guaranteed and you might have to spend more on shipping.

Canvas wrap prints

I recently got in this canvas from Matt & Alisha’s wedding. Matt ordered it as a Christmas gift for his new wife. Boy, was Alisha thrilled to see this on Christmas morning.

Putting your images on canvas is a prefect way to add a fine-art feel to your prints. Each print is printed on canvas and wrapped around a 1 1/2 inch wood frame. The prints can be framed or they look great mounted on the wall without a frame. The image wraps around the sides for a cool three-demensional look. They can be ordered in your proofing gallery and custom sizes are available upon request. I think these pictures give you a feel for what the canvas wraps look like. They are definitely more stunning in person though.

Wow, Christmas is fast approaching. There are only a few more weeks left to place orders to ensure delivery by Christmas. Pictures make great Christmas gifts. I also still have a few openings for some sessions before Christmas. Let me know if you are interested in one. I also offer gift certificates, so that would make a great gift too.

Can you believe it is less than three months until Christmas? That means it is time to think about Christmas cards and family photos. It is not too late to schedule a family session. This year I am offering some great Christmas cards for my clients. The cards are $2.00 each including envelopes (sold in packs of 25). They are press printed on linen paper. I just got finished designing Katie and Jared’s wedding album and got it sent off to the album company. This one is a rectangular album. I thought I would share a few of my favorite spreads from their album. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I like my albums to have a classic, timeless look.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I finally got my own wedding album completed just in time for Valentine’s Day. I am very pleased with how it turned out. It doesn’t normally take me this long to get an album done but since it was my own it kept getting procrastinated so it turned into a winter project. The book has a beautiful brown leather cover and the pages are hard. I order my albums from a company call KISS. They do an excellent job. Thanks to Kim Schmidt for the great images he gave me to work with and for letting me make my own album. I think it turned out great! View album.
