Happy Anniversary! Aaron and Mimi wanted some pictures for their first anniversary and to give their family as Christmas gifts. I can’t believe it has been a whole year since they got married. It seems like it was just yesterday we were driving to the Logan temple for their wedding. See their wedding pictures here. It is so great when clients come back year after year. We went to the Garden Park Ward in Sugarhouse on a beautiful fall day. I think every other photographer in the valley had the same idea because it was soooo crowded. We had a great time though, thanks guys.

We met up with Kaitlin on Saturday for her bridal session. It was a beautiful day and Kaitlin looked stunning. We went to the Utah State Capitol building. It is such a great location — very classy. It was fun to get to know Kaitlin better and see her fun personality. We are super excited about her wedding in May at the Bountiful Temple and Oakridge Golf Course. This was my first session with my new camera and it was awesome. My husband has started calling my old camera “his camera.” He came along and took a few shots as well. He did great. I had so many favorites it was hard to narrow it down. Enjoy.

Holly is from Georgia and Steve is from Oregon. They met at BYU and are students there. They found us at a bridal fair last month in Provo. It was fun that Holly’s mom was able to come along since she was visiting this weekend. They are a great couple and were a lot of fun to work with. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

This couple lives in New York State but got married here. I am glad that I got to be a part of their special day. It was at the Tuscany Gardens Reception Center in Roy. It is a beautiful location and the people that work there are super nice. I had a lot of fun shooting this ceremony. I don’t do ceremonies as often, but they remind me a lot of the events I would cover for the newspaper I used to work at. So that was fun. Congratulations!

It was snowing when they came out of the temple and it was just beautiful. I knew the groom and his family from church, but I didn’t know that one of my college roommates was the the bride’s cousin. Cyndi is from California, Zakk is from Alaska and they live in Idaho. So their guests were from all over. There was a huge snow storm the night before, but it cleared up just in time for the wedding and we were left with some beautiful snow at the temple. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
