Bridal Fair fun

Thanks to everyone who visited us at the Davis County Bridal Showcase at the Wight House Reception Center and at the Bridal Fair at the Anniversary Inn. These two shows were packed with awesome vendors and we got to meet some very fun brides. We had a great time and can’t wait to work with a lot of these brides and vendors. We did a drawing for a complimentary bridal session at each event and wanted to take a minute to announce the winners.

Congratulations to CATHERINE WRIDE from the Wight House Show and ALYA HOPKINS  from the Anniversary Inn Show. You each won a complimentary engagement or bridal session. Thanks to all the brides who entered.

Here are a few images of my booth.

Our booth at the Wight House.

At the Anniversary Inn show we were set up in the Capitol Retreat. This was an awesome room. It even had a hidden door that led to the bathroom. So cool.

Bridal glam

Thanks to all the brides who met us on Saturday at the Davis County Bridal Showcase. We had a great time and can’t wait to work with many of you. If you missed this show we will be at the Anniversary Inn Bridal Show on Friday. I will have pictures of our booth and will be announcing the winner of our drawing soon.

As promised here are the last of the workshop images. The highlight of the workshop was this bridal shoot with fashion designer Keith Bryce. Keith is an amazing designer and was a contestant on the show Project Runway. Rachael and her fiance Spencer were awesome models. Thanks guys, I had a blast at this shoot!

Workshop fun

As I mentioned before, last week I was able to attend one of Julie Parker’s, Get Schooled Workshops. Julie is a great photographer and I learned so much from her and the other ladies who came. This was just what I needed to get out of the winter blahs. Doesn’t winter last forever. At the workshop we did three different shoots. Here are a few of my favorites of Baby Shelby and the Christensen family. More photos from the workshop coming soon.

Fantastic pictures, sis . . . as always! :) And to answer your question, No. Winter doesn’t last forever here in CA! muahahahaha. But I remember thinking that same thing in Idaho. Hang in there, and before you know it spring will be there.

Wedding idea: Google docs

My husband is a computer techie. He loves everything Google. We frequently use Google docs to help organize our documents. We use it to keep track of our gas mileage and all sorts of things. Well now you can use Google docs to help plan your wedding! Google teamed up with one of my favorite wedding blogs Style Me Pretty to create 20 great wedding planning templates. These templates are a great tool to manage your guest list, budget and other aspects of your wedding. Also since they are online you can access these from anywhere. And like everything Google they are free.

To start using some of these fabulous templates visit here. Happy wedding planning!

Haley’s maternity

This darling girl lives in my neighborhood. I was so excited to do her maternity photos. Haley looks stunning. I only hope I look this good someday when I am pregnant. I can’t wait to meet her little boy in a few weeks.
