Oquirrh Mountain Temple wedding
This has been such and odd year and weddings were no exception. I don't think any of us will forget 2020. First temples were completely closed, then open only for marriages, and photographers were not allowed on the temple grounds.
Emma and Chris were married in August at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. At the time photographers were not allowed on temple grounds and the gates were locked. I got used to photographing on the other side of the fence. They were only allowed 15 minutes with a cell phone outside the temple when they finished with their sealing. I met up with them and their party after. Besides not being able to be directly on the grounds I think we did a great job of finding some pretty spots.
Their reception was at a clubhouse in Herriman. Everyone was good about wearing their masks. Congratulations Emma and Chris!
A few just married portraits and reception pictures.
I always recommend couples do a formal session before the wedding. This gives us more time to create beautiful portraits and we can do them in the evening when the lighting is best at the temple. Since Emma and Chris were both from out of town we did these the night before the wedding. Again all taken outside the temple gates.
