As Utah's premier tween photographer, my goal has always been to create an experience for each of my clients that is more than just taking pretty photos. At Erin Langford Photography, you are not just a number. Many of my clients become genuine friends and through this connection I am able to learn what makes them unique; this allows me to truly create a custom experience for each of the kids I work with.
My goal with my teen sessions is to offer a fun photographic experience for teenagers that helps them feel positive about who they are and about what they can do for others.
"Did I not exist as a tween?" I think to myself as I flip the plastic pages of my parents' family photo album. One of the few photos that exists of me as a preteen is a traditional school photo. You know the one, that head and shoulders pose with the cheesy grin. I had overly large glasses and a bad perm. Ah, sweet innocence. I really had a hard time finding anything from my tween years for my wedding video. Photos from this age range simply didn't exist.
Babies are so cute, new and chubby. Toddlers have those big, bright eyes and lets face it, they just do the darnedest things. But those tween ages are often forgotten. At ages 10-12, kids aren't children anymore but aren't quite teens.
I'm making it my personal mission to capture those lost preteen years. The goal is to help tweens look and feel beautiful and have unshakable confidence in themselves.
As a mother of three young girls myself I understand how fragile the emotions of young people are.
I will capture your child's personality — whether they are silly, shy or a little bit of both. We also want to capture what they LOVE. If they love to swim, you can bring their goggles and swimsuit, if they love basketball, bring a basketball and uniform. If they love art, let's include some artwork and maybe splatter some paint on a white background! We can really be creative with this.
Beautiful artwork mixed with words can be so powerful. Before your child's session, we will ask you and your spouse/partner questions about your child. We feel having these interviews can have a positive impact on them. Think about it — if someone surprised you with 15-20 positive quotes about you, how would you feel? I bet it would be AMAZING!
My goal is to be there every step of the way as we capture your child’s story. From the initial consultation to handing over the final printed pieces from your session, I will assist you through an experience you will treasure for years to come.
