Scarlet was such a fun girl to photography. Isn't her red hair gorgeous! She is such a talented girl. She loves to sing and taught herself how to play the guitar. Scarlet now writes her own songs. She also has performed in several musicals at her school. I could tell she is well loved by her friends and family.
"Scarlet is right on the cusp of 12 years old, but she sees herself as a proper lady. She has big ideas, even bigger hopes and is the light of our family. — Dad
"Scarlet is life of the party, since she was a baby she loved to perform and I would always ask her to sing and dance for me. Her adorable curls, freckles, and grin always melted my heart...and still do!!!" — Aunt Karin
"I appreciate how grateful Scarlet is. We had a fun time riding motorized stuffed animals in the mall for her birthday. She was so appreciative. I always notice how grateful she is to her parents and everyone who does things for her! Scarlet is expected to help a lot with her brothers every day and I admire how helpful she is to her mother and how much she loves her brothers and family. I like how she tells it like it is, if someone is not making good choices, she will stand up for truth. If something is bothering her conscience, she will make it right and do the right thing." — Grandma
"Scarlet is a ball of fire! She is fun, creative, witty and gorgeous!!! I love her cute freckled face, stunning auburn red hair and and how she hugs me when I come visit. Scarlet is an actress! I love watching her on stage, she has a beautiful voice, contagious smile and energy that lights up the room. She also makes hilarious videos of herself and brothers that crack me up!" — Grandma
"She commits completely. Whether it's performance, song, friendship, family, nature etc.. She commits to the moment entirely. I love it." — Dad
"From the moment Scarlet was born she has been smiling. She was my easiest baby and continues to be a cheerful happy child. She brings light and laughter into every room. She is always so thoughtful making gifts and cards that she will leave on my pillow as a surprise at night. I cherish these gifts and letters and hope she will never stop!" — Mom
Scarlet has empathy — she wants to understand what it's like to walk in another's shoes. What makes them think and feel like they do, so she can build them up. She seems to be trying to experience the full range of human emotion — it's beautiful and wonderfully entertaining. Scarlet is happily serving on the Hope Squad at her school. I observed a conversation where she put herself squarely in the place of a person being teased, and became their advocate." — Dad
"I love Scarlet’s moral compass. She stands up to bullies, she’s a friend to everyone, and she knows right from wrong and tries to be an example for good. She is an advocate for her little brother with down syndrome. And is teaching her classmates about acceptance, tolerance and love." — Mom
"Scarlet is always performing at home. She is always singing or dancing and knows how to put a smile on our faces. She has a funny way of expressing her thoughts, and often uses the wrong words, it is so endearing." — Mom
"Scarlet is learning how to put on makeup and do her own hair. She is doing a great job. Scarlet really enjoys meeting new people. She wants her friends to be happy she’s always trying to help them work out drama, or help them solve problems. She makes others around her feel good about themselves. She has inherited her father’s sense of humor. She is very quick witted and keeps us laughing." — Mom
