I would like to introduce you to my sweet neighbor Elizabeth who is a talented florist. We recently got to work on a wedding together so that was super fun. Here is a little bit about her and her business.
Your Name: Elizabeth Noyce
Company: Cranberry Lane Floral Design
Genre: Floral
Location: South Jordan, Utah

Tell me more about yourself: I am the owner and lead floral designer. I began my floral career in 2009 by creating flower arrangements for my own wedding. Now, I've been able to contribute to so many wonderful weddings and I am always looking forward to the next! I love everything design and spend my free time studying different styles, admiring beautiful designs, and studying current floral artists. I will put everything I know to work for you to make something completely unique and made just for you.
Tell me about your business: At Cranberry Lane, I take your inspiration and curate designs to bring beauty and nature to your special events. I find joy in creating show-stopping designs that will breathe life, color, and texture to your event. I like to say that with the right designs, flowers can bring magic, as if nature is celebrating with you. I can't wait to create elegant, inspired, nature driven designs for you.
What is your favorite part about being in the floral industry? I love to work with nature. Creating beautiful pieces with nature breaths life into me. I love to bring magic to other's lives and I have found nothing better than doing that with flowers.
Why did you decide to become a florist? I have an eye for design and a love of nature. Marrying the two together is pure joy. Bringing that joy to weddings and events is the driving force to why I do floral design.
What is your least favorite part of being a florist? The clean up! There is so much fun and beauty that comes from floral design, but that comes with a price and that's the mess!
What makes you stand out from the competition? Every florist has their own style and eye for design. Choose the florist that fits your vision. I feel like I bring a strong design sense and an affinity for nature. My style is elegant, curated, and fresh.
What are the benefits of hiring a florist versus doing it yourself? Hiring a professional will get you a much better product. We know what flowers are in season, what will hold up to different situations, and how to put everything together in a way that brings each piece to life in unique ways. It also takes a lot of stress off of you and your family. The less you choose to DIY things like your flower arrangements, the more you and your family get to enjoy the day.
How far in advance should a customer book your services? The earlier the better, but you can book as late as a few weeks before your event. The earlier you book your florist, the more catered your pieces can be. It gives us the freedom to order flowers that fit your event and style, as well as tailor your designs to be perfectly you.
What is the first thing people ask you? Typically, people immediately want to know pricing.
What is your consultation/first meeting typically like? I like to do my consultations either on the phone or zoom. Always bring whatever inspiration you have available like Pinterest boards, images you've seen on Instagram or magazines. It's nice to know what other decisions you've already made like if you already have a dress, bring a picture of your dress. If you've already booked a venue, share a picture of your venue. The more info I have, the better I can tailor your flowers to your event.
What are some things that brides and groom don’t typically expect to happen during a consult/meeting? They don't usually expect to have me ask about the rest of their wedding decisions. Usually they think that I just need to know their favorite flowers and what pieces they are looking for, but I am a designer. I don't like to copy pictures of other designer's work. I want to create something entirely new for you.
What is your favorite product and why do you recommend it the most? Always choose an impact piece instead of a bunch of small arrangements. It brings so much more to your event to have an installation like an arch, wall piece, or hanging arrangement than to cover all your tables with small centerpieces.
Describe your dream client. I like to work with people who are willing to trust my designs. Give me all the inspiration and let me create something really special for you!
